What You Need

EXPERIENCE :

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent. Post bachelor’s education/certification a plus
  • Minimum two years working in recruitment or HR related field

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Understanding of general medicine requirements including educational path of physicians and common medical terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with individuals and groups
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a member of various teams

SUMMARY:

The Physician Recruiter will manage the search, screening, interviewing and processing of physician and advanced practice provider candidates for both contract and permanent placement roles offered through the organization.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Assist and coordinate the development of strategic recruitment plans
  • Utilize tools provided by the organization for candidate searching and outreach
  • Perform initial interview and screening process to determine the candidates’ suitability
  • Check all candidate references
  • Familiarize self with the clients and specialties that you are recruiting for to manage your understanding of the clinical requirements of the position
  • Coordinate recruitment activities with operations staff
  • Manage and maintain outstanding communication with physician and APP candidates
  • Properly maintain all Zoho files and modules for recruits
  • Efficiently manage all active jobs while working on expedited turnaround times
  • Provide weekly report on current recruitment statuses
  • Participate in conferences, job fairs and recruitment opportunity events
  • Actively recruit medtigo Connect members and register providers on Connect platform and application.
  • Performs other duties assigned as required or requested.

Able to:

  • Transport self to office location and travel to necessary company events

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Majority of work will be performed in the company office
  • Some travel is required to company events and recruitment events
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
