JOB DESCRIPTION

What You Need
  • We are looking for an experienced person to support the needs of the company's rapidly growing talent pool.
  • This person will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners, help us meet our compliance requirements, and help strengthen the our culture as we strive to create the most exciting place in InsureTech to work.
  • Primary duties include building an organizational foundation, helping shaping our culture, providing direction in all areas of HR, benefits, recruiting and employee engagement.
  • In addition to the more strategic parts of the role, managing HR related policies and procedures, running payroll processes, and developing new employee onboarding processes.
  • Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can promptly juggle various administrative tasks, so our employees feel cared for and supported.
  • Culture is a critical component of our success, and we are looking for the ideal candidate to help us strengthen that culture to aid our recruiting and retention efforts.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to help us deliver world-class talent services to support our employees while conforming to US & Indian labor laws.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Proven experience in talent support (e.g., traditional HR administrator or relevant role)
  • Experience with HR software like Bamboo HR, Greenhouse, Rippling, Workday, etc.
  • Computer literacy with applications such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
  • General knowledge of US & Indian labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills
  • Excellent English & Hindi skills. Fluency in Marathi, Telugu, or Malayalam is a plus.
  • 12 to 15 years of work experience in Human Resources or relevant field

ROLE OF SUMMARY

  • Help build our organization HR foundation
  • Help develop and execute on the company culture
  • Provide direction on company benefits
  • Maintain HR platform
  • Prepare HR documents, like offer letters, HR policies and procedures, and new hire onboarding processes.
  • Revise company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates)
  • Answer queries about talent-related issues (e.g., traditional HR issues)
  • Assist the company by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)
  • Process payroll
  • Setup new hires on the payroll platform
  • Maintain application tracking system within our payroll platform
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
  • Lead HR projects, including annual reviews, talent assessments, engagement surveys, etc.
  • Prescreen potential new hire candidates
  • Add new hires to the HR platform and other onboarding applications
  • Document HR processes
  • Setup interview schedule for new hire candidates with hiring managers
  • Manage exit interviews
  • Manage day one onboarding schedule
